Declan Lewis
The piece represents a desire to reject societal norms and return to the peace of nature, unencumbered by human constructs. Or, it's just a bunch of monkeys. I enjoy the mediums of charcoal and graphite the most, and spend most my time making and listening to music, and researching different sects of fashion. I am attending SFSU for violin performance in the fall.

My favorite medium is charcoal and I especially love drawing with charcoal pencils on toned grey paper. In my free time I play soccer and listen to music. I believe my skills in the medium have improved greatly because of it; the clouds are a new skill I picked up during lockdown, as is the perspective. My favorite medium is digital art and in my freetime I like enjoy drawing, crocheting, and spending time with my loved ones. Whenever I do art on my own I almost always do digital, aside from doodling in a random notebook. I prefer digital because I like the lack of physical messiness and clutter of it. My plans for the next year are to go to college and major in Psychology, but I have always wanted to try freelance art just as a side job.
